Pro-Palestinian activists have shared on social media that Motaz Azaiza, who was described as a hero, has more followers on his Instagram account than Joe Biden.
The Palestinian photographer has over 17.3 million followers on Instagram.
On the other hand, Joe Biden, the president of the US, who has been a main supporter of Israel against its war in the Gaza Strip, owns 17.2 million followers on his Instagram account.
The toll of victims in Gaza has now surpassed 20,000 dead, according to sources from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, the number of injured people in Gaza has topped 60,000 since the start of the Israeli aggressive attacks on the strip since the start of the war on Oct. 7.
