ALBAWABA - Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly known as Twitter), is "disturbed" by the news that American famous journalist Tucker Carlson may face sanctions and travel ban by the EU.
On Wednesday, EU lawmakers warned that the Former Fox News host might be facing sanctions over his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the London Evening Standard reported.
Days ago, Tucker was spotted in Moscow, Russia with many saying he was planning to interview the Russian leader, later on, the American journalist posted on his X account confirming his interview with Putin.
On his account, he said: "Why I'm Interviewing Vladimir Putin" garnering more than 50 million views and around 400,000 likes.
Nonetheless, The Kremlin also released a statement on Wednesday confirming Putin's interview with Carlson, which is considered the first interview the president has given to a Western journalist since the Ukraine war two years ago.

Elon Musk was shocked by the EU warning of possible "sanctions and a travel ban" on Tucker Carlson and expressed his anger by saying it is "disturbing indeed".
Musk wrote on X: "One may agree with Tucker or not, but he is a major American journalist and such an action would greatly offend the American public."
Tucker Carlson reveals Putin's interview release date:
Carlson's interview with President Vladimir Putin is expected to be aired on Thursday, the American news anchor said.
In a post on Instagram on Wednesday, Carlson reported the sit-down, which has already been recorded, is likely to be shared at 6 p.m. Eastern (2300 GMT) on his website.
