ALBAWABA - Tesla CEO Elon Musk is once again the talk of the internet after news circulated that he's renting a $2,000-a-night cottage in Mar-a-Lago, only a couple of feet away from his neighbor and current presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to The Independent.
News of the tech billionaire renting the cottage quickly swarmed his platform X (formerly known as Twitter), resulting in mixed reactions from users across a series of posts debating the matter in question. Some called the move "needy" while others showed concerns about Space X's owner controlling Trump "like a puppet."

Washington has also raised the same complaints about Musk's huge influence on Donald Trump since the tech billionaire was spotted at personnel meetings, and several discussions with foreign leaders as he ventures further into the political world.
The tech billionaire is specifically staying at Banyan, a cottage located only several hundred feet from Mar-a-Lago's main house, which would cost its renter at least $2,000, depending on the season. On the contrary, Musk's rent bill remains unknown.
As Trump boasted about Musk's stay at the Mar-a-Lago, The New York Times reports that the Space X's owner moved to the cottage in question on Election Day with other pro-Trump members including Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The property also hosted Vice President-elect JD Vance as one of its guests during the election's transition period.
