ALBAWABA - Elon Musk is yet again under fire for allegedly suspending accounts on his social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) over covering the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

X users took to the platform in anger and voiced their concern over "mass suspending" such accounts and claimed that free speech is not a thing anymore on Musk's former bird app.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Stip has resulted in the killing of more than 27,000 Palestinians of whom are children who became orphans amid the passing of their parents. Additionally, more than 66,000 Gazans are injured.

The news reached well-known users on X including Dr. Anastasia Maria Loupis as she took to her official account and posted several screenshots of the alleged "suspended accounts":

"His “free speech” platform is mass suspending accounts speaking out against a genocide!

Hitler would be proud of Elon Musk."

Recently Elon Musk visited Israel and was welcomed by its prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in solidarity with the hostages taken by Hamas since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation that took place on Oct. 7, 2023.

As photos of Musk in Israel surfaced across social media, pro-Palestine activists took to X and Instagram to demand that Elon should also visit Gaza in solidarity with the Palestinian people whose homes have been destroyed by Israeli rockets and lost countless family members and people as mentioned above.

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
