ALBAWABA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in huge trouble after news that he received an unexpected and fancy gift from an American billionaire.

Several Israeli associations have criticized Netanyahu, 74, after he agreed to move to the residency of the American billionaire Simon Falic, located in Jerusalem.

Some unconfirmed reports suggested that the Israeli Prime Minister, along with his family, reportedly spent last weekend inside American billionaire Simon Falic's "missile-proof" house during the same time when Iran launched its retaliatory strike against Tel Aviv.

Several Israeli associations slammed Netanyahu for accepting to stay during the weekend at the home of Falic, while the country was under an Iranian attack, which may be considered receiving a prohibited gift, according to Israeli laws.

The "Quality Government in Israel" movement called on the legal authorities in the country to investigate the matter. Nonetheless, in addition to the ethical issue of the prime minister staying in a foreigner's home in Israel, Netanyahu's actions may have violated a ban on state employees accepting gifts, the Times of Israel reported.

Who is the American billionaire Simon Falic?

Falic is an American businessman and one of the three brothers who run the Falic Group, a privately held duty-free retail company.

Furthermore, the Falic Group, which is based in Miami, Florida, operates duty-free stores in airports and other travel-related locations worldwide.
