ALBAWBA - The death of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has become a hot topic on social media, with many claiming that he was reportedly assassinated by Iranian attacks during the US and Israel's ongoing war with Iran.

In response, the prime minister's office denounced rumors that have recently circulated on several social media platforms. According to Mossad Commentary on X (formerly Twitter), the office claimed that the ongoing death rumors are reportedly "fake news" and that the Israeli Prime Minister is fine.

The report on X added that Netanyahu is "alive and continuing his duties," further urging social media users to stay cautious of unverified information during the ongoing war. This sparked debate among users, with many urging the Israeli government to show "proof" that the prime minister is alive by releasing a new video or public appearance.

A social media user wrote under Mossad Commentary's post, "It’s remarkably easy to debunk this kind of fake news. Just bring Netanyahu out in the open. Let him visit one of the sites hit by the Iranian strike he claimed happened on March 2.

They added, "The video posted by the official handle has already raised eyebrows, mainly because it carries a few subtle signs that make it look suspiciously AI-generated."

This comes after Netanyahu's latest speech was accused of being AI-generated, with many claiming that the video showed him with six fingers on his right hand.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) vowed on Sunday to hunt Netanyahu and kill him. The Iranian army told Sepah News, "If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force."

Israel and the U.S. launched joint attacks on Iran on Feb. 28, killing over 1,200 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and more than 150 children, in a strike on a girls' elementary school in Minab, in southern Hormozgan province.
