ALBAWABA - A podcast between two Lebanese; a man and a woman, has sparked anger after its content which seems to promote paedophilia (sex with children) and then killing the victims.
A podcast went viral with calls to ban such content from being spread to avoid encouraging people from committing sexual crimes against minors especially following news that Lebanon has arrested dozens of suspects, including TikTokers and a lawyer, who were part of a child sex-trafficking ring.
The Lebanese media was shocked by the relationship between two Lebanese famous TikTokers; Gigi Ghannawi and Goerge Moubayed, and the gang that was caught for crimes that included child sex.
A podcast called "Sorry Atashitne" on YouTube has sparked wide anger among activists on social media over its content that promotes sex with children and then killing them.
The podcaster called Jawad said in the video: "Man, I advise anyone who wants to start a paedophile ring, after you finish with the child, kill them, because they might tell their family."
He maintained: "Imagine raping children and then they go back to their families and they don't tell their parents what happened?"
This comes amid news spread yesterday that a man in his 60s was arrested after raping a girl with disability twice in Saksakiyeh town in the Sidon District.
