ALBAWABA - Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, a displaced Palestinian kid called Hossam Al-Attar took the internet by storm for his genius yet simple invention as users crowned him the Newton of Gaza!

The Palestinian child immigrated from northern Gaza to the south amid Israel's aggression that resulted in killing more than 26,000 Palestinians by the time of writing this article, according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.

In a video by Quds Press, Hossam found out that the camp he resided in didn't have any kind of electricity, so he decided to make a simple invention that consisted of two fans to generate electricity for the tent his family currently lives in hence why he got the nickname "Newton of Gaza" across social media platforms.

He said in the video by Quds Press that the reason behind the invention was to light things up for his two little brothers so they could see properly. The news outlet later interviewed the child's mother as she said "They now call my son Isaac Newton!"

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Strip.

Since October 7, nearly 27,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across the besieged strip, more than half of whom are children and women, the Ministry of Health reported. Additionally, more than 65,000 Gazans have been injured varying between mild and severe.
