ALBAWABA - A 6-year-old Muslim boy was killed in a brutal knife attack in the United States.
Joseph Czuba, 71, was arrested after carrying out a knife attack against a mother, 32, and her little boy, named Wadie Al-Fayoume, because they were Muslims. The attack took place in Plainfield, Illinois.
In detail, the mother called policemen reporting a stabber, when officers arrived they found the woman and the Muslim boy and they were affected by "multiple stab wounds to their chest, torso, and upper extremities."
The stabber was allegedly shouting "You Muslims must die!," when he was carrying out the attack.
According to the Will County Sheriff's Office, the attacker stabbed the woman and the Muslim boy because of the current Gaza-Israel conflict.
Social media users were shocked by the stabbing incident with led to the death of the little Muslim boy and described it as a "hate crime" and "Islamophobia."
Furthermore, U.S. President Joe Biden also reacted to the knife attack against a Muslim boy saying he was "sickened."
Biden maintained in a statement: "This horrific act of hate has no place in America, and stands against our fundamental values: freedom from fear for how we pray, what we believe, and who we are."
According to sources, the mother and her son were Palestinian-Americans, but they were targeted because they were Muslims and Palestinians.
