ALBAWABA - A photo of former US president Barack Obama and Hollywood star George Clooney resurfaced and went viral after a "minor" girl was spotted along with them on a yacht.
The picture went viral on social media with many questioning the direction of the two along with the small girl. "To Epstein Island?" many questioned online despite that Obama was one of the names which were listed in sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's case.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time the ex-president of the US has been accused in a similar case, years ago, Obama was seen caressing a little girl, who later turned out to be his niece.
The truth behind the picture of Obama and George Clooney
After analysing the photo, it turned out that the female who was seen in the pictures with former president Barack Obama and George Clooney is not a minor, but a grown-up woman.
The picture also dates back to 2019, when Obama left the White House and decided to spend a vacation in Italy, and he was accompanied by George Clooney and his wife, the Lebanese–British barrister Amal Clooney, AFP clarified.
The yacht was close to George Clooney's wonderful mansion in Italy, and it was said that all the people on board were on their way to a charity event and denied that the picture is related in one way or another to Jeffrey Epstein and his island.
This is not the first time, the image has been circulating on social media, years ago, the same photo went viral and also made headlines.
