ALBAWABA - Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, a pro-Palestine protestor took to Syndey Australia's streets and vandalized the US Consulate building with what appears to be red triangles on the logos scattered around the building.

According to Reuters, the protestors appeared to be in an ongoing pro-Palestine march when the incident occurred prompting Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to denounce it.

The building that got vandalized is located in the northern suburbs of Syndey, Australia, according to the New South Wales Police.

Moreover, the police confirmed that the attack was carried out by a single individual wearing a dark jacket and covering their face with a mask while also holding a small hammer at around three in the morning on Monday, Jun. 10, 2024.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told local news, "I would just say that people should have a respectful political debate and discourse."

He added, "Actions such as painting (the wall) of the US Consulate do nothing to strengthen the case of those who committed what is of course a crime of destroying property."

The police also stated that 9 windows were damaged due to the vandalism incident and the door of the building also had graffiti written on it.

Additionally, it seems that this was not the first time this building got vandalized as the same thing happened a month ago with "Free Gaza" written all over the windows:
