Pride flag during Saudi Esports World Convention? Here's the truth

A video from the Esports World Convention event opening was posted on social media showing performers holding large electronic flags triggering massive discussion as many claimed the flags resembled Pride flags.

A wide debate was launched online with many saying the colors in the electronic flag held by performers have the same colors as the Pride flag used by the LGBTQ+ community.

An X user clarified the truth behind the flags saying that the displayed ones are illuminated electronic flags and they symbolize the online games as well as the Esports World Convention competition and they have nothing to do with LGBTQ or the pride flag.

In addition, another stressed that the colors in the Saudi Esports World Convention do not match the ones in the Pride flag, saying that the ones who made the claim are only jealous ones from the great success the Saudi kingdom is achieving.

Nonetheless, another added that the order of the colors in the Esports World Convention doesn't even match the order in the Pride flag, considering that lines were changing between horizontal and vertical, however, the Pride flag is in a strict order.
