ALBAWABA - According to local news outlets, several Russians were responsible for the killing of an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war by stabbing him with a medieval-looking sword in the torso area as pictures of the incident swarmed social media outlets.
The censored picture in question showcased an alleged Ukrainian prisoner of war whom users claimed to have been tied up by Russians. Moreover, he was on the ground with blood surrounding him and a sword stuck in his torso area. According to Ukrainska Pravada, there was a "For Kursk" inscription on the sword as well.

Russians kill Ukrainian prisoner of war with sword
The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets took to his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote:
"The Russians executed an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war with a sword. Нis hands were bound with tape. Such actions constitute a violation of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War! The world must not be silent!"
One user on X wrote, "No. His hands were not bound. You have no idea of the origin of this photo & are speculating, based on the rumor mill. Stop." Which received several replies slamming them for making "Insensitive" comments while the "Evidence" was in front of them.
Another replied with, "Sure, they killed him with a sword 'cause he was carrying his rifle" while another added "Moron."
By the time of writing this article, the identity of the Ukrainian prisoner of war has not been confirmed.
