ALBAWABA - Palestinian prisoner Miqdad Qawasmeh  is now on hunger strike for 104 days and counting. He is protesting the fact that he is being detained on administrative detention without charge by the Israeli authorities. (#MiqdadQawasmeh)

He writes: "I will continue my hunger strike. This is a decision that I have taken not because I hate life or I want to die. No. I want to live with meaning (#FreeThemAll #معركه_الامعاء_الخاوية #الحرية_للمقداد)

The social media is going rife covering his news. One blogger comments "I repeat my apology to you anew  because of the re-posting of your picture with your frail body and to the state it has reached. I am sorry and I need to act to energise our minds and maybe our hearts will be moved."

His is one of many other Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike because they are under administrative detention. Some like Miqdad have passed the 100-day mark and are literally dying and will not give up.

Miqdad can no longer speak because at this stage with no food, speaking is more difficult than moving. He says "even from the breath my ribs hurt".  Pictures of him on the social media capture the extent of the deterioration of his health condition.

Qawasmeh's mother was finally able to hug him. His body is pure skin and bones and his heart is expected to fail any moment. Say a pray to Miqdad.
