ALBAWABA - Sky News military analyst Sean Bell has caused controversy on social media after calling a Palestinian child "young lady".
A video went viral on X (formerly Twitter) in which Sean Bell appeared on the British television channel and was attempting to justify the killing of a 3 to 4-year-old Palestinian kid by calling her "young lady".
Nonetheless, the military analyst was speaking about a video in which Palestinians were killed in Israeli army bullets, however, the Sky News guest claimed they were killed in "stray bullets."
He said: "This happened at a border checkpoint, you see a car going through and ramming the police that were actually manning that checkpoint."
The military analyst continued: "There was a man and a woman in the car, in the subscale they were killed by the police, but it looks like accidentally a bullet found its way into the van and killed a 3 or 4-year-old young lady."
Many pro-Palestinian activists online slammed Sean Bell and accused him of "unprofessionalism." A person commented: "When a 3-year-old Palestinian CHILD is shot and killed by the #Israeli police, she suddenly becomes a 3-year-old "YOUNG LADY"…!.So much for professionalism."
Another added: "Western Journalism!"
According to TRT news, the Palestinian girl in the video was identified as Ruqaya Jahalin and was killed by Israel near a military checkpoint in occupied East Jerusalem.
