ALBAWABA - A woman from Egypt went viral by taking to local streets while looking like an alien sparking widespread mixed reactions from Egyptians and social media users alike.
She shared a plethora of videos on her social media accounts where she appeared bald with a bunch of makeup and antennas on her face in inspiration of what an alien could look like.
The individual in question is 23-year-old Marina Magdy, who began her studies at the Faculty of Law but decided to quit and pursue her passion for makeup and decoration, as reported in an interview with Al Arabiya. Moreover, during her interview, she also claimed to have received huge support from her friends and family.
The story behind Egypt's alien, shaved head and antennas
After quitting the Faculty of Law, Magdy decided to join the Institute of Dramatic Arts.
During her videos, Magdy takes to Egypt's streets to get a reaction from people roaming around with many either getting scared and running away, or staring at her. On the other hand, she did claim in the interview with Al Arabiya that she was not targeted or harassed by anybody on the street despite being alone.
Marina Magdy stressed that what she's doing isn't a "Prank" but to spread awareness of her art and craft. She added that her goal isn't to scare people but to showcase her art's uniqueness instead.

When asked if she would ever reveal her actual face, Magdy answered that she was not interested in doing so in hopes of people seeing her art instead of herself.
She graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Decoration and now works in theatre, media makeup, decoration, and accessories.
