ALBAWABA - US President Joe Biden has been heavily criticized by religious Christians after he declared March 31st, which falls on Easter this year, as Transgender Day of Visibility.

Biden proclaimed on Friday, recognizing March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility angering Christians and Republicans. However, the US president's proclamation has been done for every year since he took office.

American media personality Caitlyn Jenner slammed the US president for the announcement of Transgender Day of Visibility which happens to fall on Easter this year. She posted on X: "I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days - a self-proclaimed devout Catholic - as Transgender Day of Visibility. The only thing you should be declaring on this day is 'HE is Risen'."

In fact, the Transgender Day of Visibility is held on March 31 each year, however, in 2024, it is a coincidence that it is the date of Easter, which usually changes from year to year.

Critics have posted an old photo of Caitlyn Jenner where she was happily celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility with her "sisters" in 2017.

An old post of Caitlyn Jenner emerged online in which she posted a photo of herself with some friends and wrote: "#TransDayOfVisibility There's no better visibility than wit sisters by my side."
