ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump recently took to his official Truth Social account and shared a video of an obese Venezuelan woman running while holding a weapon, mocking the country's military amid heightened tensions between the two nations.
Trump wrote in the video's caption, "TOP SECRET: We caught the Venezuelan Militia in training. A very serious threat!"
The video also showed several other women holding weapons and running as part of what appears to be military training.

This comes weeks after the US President announced ordering a strike on a Venezuelan boat that was allegedly carrying "narcoterrorists" from Venezuela, killing 11 on board the vessel. In response, Venezuelan officials threatened to strike back, stating that none of the individuals on board were part of the Tren de Aragua gang.
The Venezuelan government also launched military exercises with claims that it had deployed millions of militants.
Days after the attack, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro wrote to Donald Trump denying his involvement in narco-trafficking, stating further that the allegations against him are "fake news, propagated through various media channels."

Additionally, Maduro offered to engage in a conversation with Trump's envoy to clear any misinformation.
CNN confirmed that the letter signed by Maduro on September 9 was shared on Telegram by Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez. However, Trump denied receiving the letter and told reporters, "We’ll see what happens with Venezuela."
For his part, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello told NTN24, "We do not seek war with anyone. We have never declared war on anyone."
He added, "But we have learned to defend ourselves, and we have also learned to carry out devastating counterattacks when necessary."
