ALBAWABA - A well-known Ukrainian crypto-trader and blogger was found dead inside his car with a gunshot wound to his head, raising questions about whether he committed suicide due to the crash in cryptocurrency markets.
Konstantin Ganich, referred to as Kostya Kudo, a 32-year-old prominent Ukrainian crypto dealer, was found dead, according to what the Kiev authorities said was a suspected suicide, RT reported Saturday.
Crypto markets witnessed one of the largest decreases in 2025, after U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to impose a new 100% tariff on Chinese imports.
According to the Ukrainian media, Ganich lost up to $30 million of investments he was managing, plus his own personal assets.
The Unian outlet also reported that among his clients were allegedly unnamed Ukrainian officials and “influential people,” highlighting that the Crypto-dealer was involved with Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence.
