ALBAWABA - A horrific video emerged online showing members of the Australian police attacking a little boy wearing a keffiyeh during a protest against Israeli President Isaac Herzog's visit to the country.

New South Wales Police were seen brutally attacking a teenager wearing a white t-shirt, then dragging him off. The incident angered human rights activists who condemned the act as against people's simplest rights, to protest peacefully.

Yesterday, The Guardian reported that the police in Australia used violence and pepper spray to disperse pro-Palestinian protesters who gathered in multiple cities across the country, who rallied against Herzog's visit.

Crowds were heard shouting "from the river to the sea," "Arrest Herzog," and "globalize the intifada", as they called the Australian government for the Israeli president's arrest as a war criminal in central Sydney.

Horrible footage was shared showing police charging and punching people at the protest in Sydney on Monday night. A state parliament MP was among those who said they were injured in the clashes with the police.

In addition, police arrested 27 people, with nine later charged, and 10 officers were assaulted. "Did what they needed to do", the police defended their actions against protesters. On the other hand, a rallier said, "We should have had the right to march."

It is worth mentioning that Herzog came to Australia to commemorate the victims of the attack at Bondi Beach on December 14, 2025, when two people opened fire, killing 15 people, including a ten-year-old girl.
