Video: Israeli army dog attacks old Palestinian woman

ALBAWABA - A video circulating across X (formerly known as Twitter) angered human rights and pro-Palestine activists alike since it showcased a dog from the Israeli rabidly attacking an elderly Palestinian woman amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The video in question showcased the dog's point of view since Israeli soldiers installed a camera on it, and then let it loose towards the old Palestinian woman shocking users across social media. Former UFC fighter Jake Shields said on his official X that "Their evil is beyond compression."

It was first shared on Jun. 25, 2024, by Qatari news outlet Al Jazeera and quickly swarmed social media outlets for its shocking and inhumane nature. The incident took place at the woman's house in Jabalia, Gaza who is confirmed to be 66 years old. 

According to users on X, the inhumane incident occurred because she refused to leave her home.

By the time of writing this article, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of more than 37,000 Palestinians of whom are children (not counting the ones buried under the rubble), as reported by the ministry of health in Gaza.

Additionally, at least 86,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7 were injured due to the constant bombardment from Israel leaving many Gazans homeless, displaced, and malnourished.
