ALBAWABA - An Israeli human rights activist called Itamar Greenberg recently captured a protest in Tel Aviv showcasing Israeli youth burning their IDF draft orders in protest of the ongoing aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

The video circulating on X (formerly known as Twitter) garnered hundreds of thousands of views on the social media platform, with many fellow activists praising the protestors for their courage and bravery. Burning the IDF draft orders showcases the activists' refusal to take part in Israel's ongoing aggression on Gaza.

A social media user asked pro-Palestine activist Jess Flom, "Does this mean they will not join the army? Or is it just a protest?" to which they replied:

"Not join to the army."

In March, human rights activist Itamar Greenberg revealed that he was released by the Israeli army after 197 days in prison over his refusal to enlist in the IDF.

He took to X and wrote, "It was a long and exhausting time, but my refusal to enlist is only the first step of my journey."

Greenberg added, "Evil should start trembling from this day forward because I’m in the fight against it with full force - until this world is a better place. Until there is peace, freedom, and equality for all."

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of at least 58,000 Palestinians and the injuring of more than 139,300, without counting the lives lost under the rubble, according to the health ministry in the Strip.

Gaza's Ministry of Health said, "Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them."
