ALBAWABA - A viral video showing a massive number of crows flying and hovering in the sky of Tel Aviv has sparked fear among residents.
An unverified clip was posted online, allegedly showing hundreds of crows flocking above Tel Aviv, Israel. Many activists reshared the footage and wondered what this means.
Many X users warned residents of Tel Aviv, saying that the huge number of flying crows could mean that something dangerous is expected.
One wrote, "In many cultures, the flight of this type of bird is seen as an omen — a sign that something is about to happen."
Moreover, some users linked it with the depictions of war and destruction in the Bible, while experts noted that the situation could be natural.
The Bible, particularly in apocalyptic texts like Revelation, contains depictions of carrion-eating birds (crows, vultures) appearing after wars, destruction, and deaths.
Some posts interpreted the footage as a "bad omen."
However, neither the video nor the location of the clip was verified, with some people claiming this could be generated using AI, while others said it could be captured somewhere else and is being shared with claims it was taken in Israel.
It is worth noting that Tel Aviv and Washington launched a preemptive attack on Iran on February 28. In response, Tehran carried out attacks against Israel and U.S. assets in the region.
On the other hand, some experts said that this video showing hundreds of crowds in the sky of Tel Aviv is not linked to the war with Iran but rather to bird migration.
