ALBAWABA - A huge number of pro-Palestine protestors went viral on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) ahead of Chicago's Democratic National Committee (DNC) convention as they shouted slogans and some even crashed the welcome party.
The pro-Palestine protests in question received a mixed bag of reactions with some users judging them for being "uncivil" about it while others threw slurs at Israel amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, that resulted in the killing of tens of thousands of Palestinians.
Moreover, during the protests, they were heard chanting to the police things like, "DNC go home! Or we’re gonna bring the war home!" and "Piggy, piggy, go back home, or we'll bring the war home!"
This comes as a threat that if the democratic government doesn't meet their expectations, they're bringing the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza to the US.

The 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) will run from Monday, Aug. 19 to Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, and will celebrate current VP Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as its Democratic nominees for President and Vice President of the United States against the Republicans' Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.
Users across X took to posts discussing the protests in question. Here's what some had to say:
"As I munch on my popcorn and enjoy this absolute dumpster fire."
"The sh*t show has begun!"
"Fu*k Israel, Trash can of the 21st century."
"Are we sure they are not paid imposters for Trump?"
What are these pro-Palestine protestors fighting for? Gaza Now
Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, more than 40,099 have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across the besieged strip, more than half of whom are children and women, the Ministry of Health reported. Additionally, 92,609 Gazans have been injured, with injuries varying between mild and severe.
