ALBAWABA - The Israeli Oct. 7 ceremony went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) after Former Israeli Spokesperson Eylon Levy claimed that someone reportedly displayed Hamas' red Triangle behind the event's spokespeople.

Levy wrote, "Who was the genius who added the upside-down red triangles to the official October 7 ceremony?" The ceremony took place on Oct.7, 2024, in reference to the Israeli hostages taken by the Palestinian military group Hamas, during its Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

Was Hamas' Red Triangle displayed at the Israeli October 7 ceremony?

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of more than 41,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 97,000 including children, women, and elderly people since Oct. 7, 2023.

Hamas uses the red triangles in its videos to emphasize the IOF soldiers as targets before attacking them. Many users claimed that the triangle was put there by coincidence. On the other hand, pro-Israel individuals including Eylon Levy took offense to the alleged display.

Pro-Palestine users took to comment sections displaying a photo of the alleged red triangle. Here's what they had to say:

Israeli

"The triangle has become a nightmare... Only the triangle can save us now".

"The triangle isn't only the nightmare. Even elevators,  yield signs, hazard lights, Canadian Tire logos & even car+bike brand logos(Mitsubishi, Porsche, Buick, Ducati, Cupra, Triumph & Lamborghini) are also becoming nightmare horror for them too."

"Red triangles? Those are our favorite things."

By the time of writing this article, it's unclear why there was a red triangle displayed during the Israeli Oct. 7 ceremony.
