ALBAWABA - Marianna Budanova, wife of a top Ukraine military intelligence, was admitted to hospital with apparent heavy metals poisoning, Ukrainian officials announced. But how was behind the poisoning attack?
According to sources, the woman is the wife of Kyrylo Budanov, who is a member of the military intelligence agency GUR.
The GUR works has been deeply involved in the Russian war on Ukraine and works to expel Russian military forces which occupied territories in Ukraine.

Accusation fingers mainly switched to Russia as it was blamed for the poisoning of the wife of top Ukrainian military intelligence, Marianna Budanova.
CNN reported on Tuesday that Western officials are suspecting that "Russian agents may have paid off a staff member" to poison Marianna.
Andriy Yusov, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, also added that poisoning cases were also reported among some workers. He further noted that an investigation was already open in the case.
