ALBAWABA - A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) has gone viral after reportedly capturing the moment a dog blew up an apartment in Novosibirsk, Russia.
According to several reports circulating on social media, the owner left a bottle of bug spray near the kitchen's stove before leaving for work. While the owner was away, his dog climbed onto the counter and, with its teeth, turned on the stove, triggering a chemical reaction.

Reports on Telegram also indicate that bite marks were reportedly found on the stove’s knobs. Moreover, the dog survived the incident by jumping to the balcony to take shelter.
Russian-based Irish journalist Brian McDonald said, "A story that sounds too insane to be true: a dog in Novosibirsk blew up an entire apartment after turning on a stove with his teeth. The bug spray can on top detonated, blasting out windows and doors."
He added, "Fido [the dog] survived by hiding on the balcony like a tiny action hero."
CCTV footage captured on November 28 shows the moment from outside the apartment when the explosion caused the door to fly off.
