ALBAWABA - A video dragged the attention of many people on social media and triggered many questions showing Russian President Vladimir Putin holding private talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The footage was just released by media of the Russian and Chinese leaders turning off mics, talking in private and low voices while the translator in the middle went viral online.

"Russia-China relations are at their highest level in history," an X user wrote to highlight that the ties between the two countries are very good at this time, another said the latest data confirmed that the trade between Russia and China reached a value of "approximately $240 billion in 2023."

Social media users began wondering what are they talking about, as many asked people to stay aware following the handshake at the end of the conversation.

"What is cooking between them," a person said. Another mockingly said: "Are they talking about the party they're going to have when Trump gets back in office?"

BRICS Summit 2024

Nonetheless, new members of BRICS; Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, also attended the meeting in Russia.

During the meeting, the Russian leader expressed his worry over the ongoing wars in the Middle East, calling the Israel-Palestine conflict as "one of the bloodiest in a long series of clashes".
