ALBAWABA - A staffing agency paid a substantial financial settlement to a domestic worker at the Israeli prime minister's residence to convince her to drop a lawsuit in which she accused Sara Netanyahu of insulting her and throwing tomatoes and olives at her in front of her husband, Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported that the worker received tens of thousands of shekels in compensation as part of a confidential settlement, outside the Jerusalem Labor Court where the lawsuit was being heard.

In her lawsuit, the woman, identified only as "S," said: "The prime minister's wife looked at the breakfast and angrily reprimanded me for having too many onions, tomatoes, and olives. Then she threw pieces of tomato and olives at me in front of her husband, the prime minister."

She described how she told her supervisors what had happened while in a distressed state, and they calmed her down. The woman continued working at the prime minister's residence despite the incident.

According to the maid, "Her clothes were stained with tomatoes and olives around her chest. At the same time, the prime minister's wife screamed and accused the maid of hating her and the prime minister, and of deliberately trying to harm them."

She explained that this wasn't the first incident; in another instance, Sara claimed there was a hair in the food and reported the complaint to the maid's supervisor via WhatsApp.

She alleged that after the second incident, Sara Netanyahu ordered her to have no contact with the prime minister whatsoever and to leave food outside his office door, considering it punishment for her behavior.

She further mentioned having worked at the Israeli PM's residence for approximately two years and complained of being subjected to degrading and humiliating treatment by Sara Netanyahu on numerous occasions.
