A parody account of the White House Press has gone to Twitter on Tuesday to announce John Bolton, US National Security Advisor, has been nominated by the president to a Nobel Peace Prize.

The announcement made by an account that imitates the official account of the White House Press in style, profile bio, and pictures, had confused many people who believed the news and went to condemn Trump taking such a step.
Not sure if I'm reading the onion, or if White House is trolling or if Trump has finally, completely lost his fucking mind. John Bolton is a reputed warmonger and has been for decades. He's been behind countless human deaths. It's a peace prize. Peace is the opposite of war.

However, the post has received massive reactions among Twitter users who jumped on the story.

The irony in the announcement was aimed at highlighting the fact that Bolton is a notorious and some believe mentally unstable war hawk in US Foreign Policy circles - despite, or perhaps because of, well over a decade of failed wars.
Since Bolton was first appointed as the US ambassador to the UN in 2005, he advocated for the Iraq war, the US military interference in several countries and the termination of Iran’s nuclear deal. Lately, John Bolton has been stoking tensions with North Korea, Venezuela, and his pet peeve: Iran.
