THE One lauches its Spring collection for 2011

THE One’s inspiring Spring 2011 collection is now on show! Featuring a host of deco themes ranging from all white and monochrome to nude hues and browns, there is something to please every palate.
One of the hottest themes this season is the so-called Country Estate look. Inspired by the English Colonial era, it captures the spirit of understated luxury with comfort, practicality and relaxed elegance at its heart.
Contrasting the modern with the traditional, this theme features an artful mix of chic and rustic elements set against a backdrop of gorgeously graphic tartan wallpaper – a nod to British heritage. For a plush yet down-to-earth ambience that radiates warmth, think rich browns, khaki, red and dark greens mixed with studded leather, light and dark woods, kelims, cow hides and metal. Here, an eclectic assortment of accessories from across the globe reflects an era of exploration and helps personalise the space.
Oozing character and country charm, this laid-back, lived-in look can be extended effortlessly into the dining room. Set the scene with red and green tartan wallpaper and pair wooden pieces with lush velvet dining chairs in hunter green. Accessorise with recycled glass, chrome accents and a sepia hunting print for a jolly good show!
