Khaled Selim is clearly over the rumors that he's associated with an upcoming film. The Egyptian artist has taken to Facebook to fiercely deny his participation in "Memory Card" after more than three months of constant rumors that he's the lead actor.

"There is no relationship between me and the said film 'Memory Card', which suddenly transformed from a proposed drama to a film in itself a matter I refuse to accept. I said my opinion openly to Khaled mahran in front of everyone and with all honesty," Khaled posted, adding, "Despite everything, and my opposition, the rumor is still circulating that I had filmed all the scenes for the film and it will be screened in the near future. The rumor was created by the media office of the film, and I feel they are trying to impose the film on me and use my name to promote for it."

According to Laha Magazine, Khaled stressed that he was betrayed and never even gave his verbal agreement to the film. The only agreement he did make was for a completely different project for the 60-episode television drama "Al Qadiah X" (Trial X), only one of which has already been filmed.

The makers of the "Memory Card" allegedly included the episode Khaled had filmed into scenes shot by other actors and turned it into a film with Khaled being the leading actor.

A major advertisement campaign was even held for the film with Khaled's face included, a measure for which he says he never signed an official contract.
