SAE Institute partners with PALME to offer specialized workshops on audio and sound production

SAE Institute in Dubai, the world’s leading digital media institute for Audio Production, 3D Animation, Web Development and Film Production, has joined hands with PALME, the region’s largest trade show dedicated to professional audio, lighting, music, entertainment technologies, audio visual and systems integration, as the ‘Educational Partner’.

SAE will host workshops on audio and sound production at PALME to be held on April 26 and 27, 2011 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. All the workshops are free and open to the public.

The first workshop, titled Drum Micing/Recording, will be conducted on April 26 and 27 from 11:30am -12:45pm. Experts will share insights on the fundamentals of recording, how to choose a microphone and other related aspects. The second workshop is on Mixing Techniques and will discuss how high quality sound can be achieved, and will be held on both days from 1:30pm to 2:15pm. The third workshop, Mastering Concepts, will be held on April 26 from 2:30pm to 3:15pm and on April 27 from 3:30pm to 4:15pm. Mastering Concepts will discuss how a track record can be made commercially ready for radio or television.
