His Highness Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and UAE Minister of Finance, toured the GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health 2011, the premier healthcare exhibition being held at the Dubai International Convention Centre.

Among the innovative solutions to be showcased at this year’s event are from GE’s comprehensive CT portfolio including the exclusive ASiR (adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction) low dose reconstruction technology and a model-based iterative reconstruction (MBIR) technology called Veo.
GE Healthcare is also introducing the latest in MR scanners and applications in addition to Vscan, a pocket-sized ultrasound visualization tool for point-of-care imaging as well as the company’s new X-ray technology, FlashPad, a flexible, wireless detector that features two handles that make it easier to position and maneuver.
