Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum visits GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health 2011

His Highness Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and UAE Minister of Finance, toured the GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health 2011, the premier healthcare exhibition being held at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
Aziz Koleilat, General Manager at GE Healthcare for the Middle East region, said: “We are honored to host His Highness Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum at our pavilion. At Arab Health, we are highlighting our diagnostic technologies, service capabilities and advanced solutions. By providing regional healthcare professionals with innovative tools to help identify and diagnose disease conditions at an earlier stage, this can potentially result in more treatment options, which ultimately benefit the patient. This is in line with our healthymagination initiative around the delivery of affordable, effective and quality healthcare worldwide – and specifically, regionally, with the emphasis on access to healthcare.”
GE Healthcare is the Platinum Sponsor of the exhibition. Among the innovative solutions to be showcased at this year’s event are from GE’s comprehensive CT portfolio including the exclusive ASiR (adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction) low dose reconstruction technology and a model-based iterative reconstruction (MBIR) technology called Veo.
GE Healthcare is also introducing the latest in MR scanners and applications in addition to Vscan, a pocket-sized ultrasound visualization tool for point-of-care imaging as well as the company’s new X-ray technology, FlashPad, a flexible, wireless detector that features two handles that make it easier to position and maneuver.
