Sheikh Maktoum honours du for supporting Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport

In acknowledgement of its support to the local community, du was honoured for its role as the gold sponsor of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport for the second consecutive year. HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), felicitated Osman Sultan, CEO du in a special ceremony organised to announce the winners of the third edition of the event.

“We are pleased to be providing support for the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport; this initiative comes directly in-line with our commitment to give back the UAE community that we live in. The event has achieved remarkable success over the past three years in rewarding best transportation practices, and we are proud to be a part of contributing to building a better future for UAE residents,” commented Osman Sultan, CEO, du.

The event was attended by Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du, Ahmed Aburahima, VP Government Relations attended the ceremony among other senior officials.
