Angry George Floyd Protests Erupt in The US

Donald Trump blasted protesters as 'THUGS' and laid into 'weak' Mayor Jacob Frey as he pledged to 'assume control' if he fails to tackle the escalating violence.

Over 500 National Guard soldiers have arrived to the streets of Minneapolis and neighboring St. Paul Thursday night and Frey declared a state of emergency as rioting escalated and cars and buildings were torched. 

George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died after pleading for help 'I can't breath' as a police officer used his knee on Floyd's neck to pin him, unarmed and handcuffed, to the ground.

A police precinct in Minnesota went up in flames late on May 28 in a third day of demonstrations as the so-called Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul seethed over the shocking police killing of a handcuffed black man. The precinct, which police had abandoned, burned after a group of protesters pushed through barriers around the building, breaking windows and chanting slogans.
