Beirut Bleeds After Mass Explosions

Massive blast has shaken Lebanon August 4th, 2020 which was allegedly caused by a fire at a warehouse containing explosives at the Port of Beirut.

Lebanese Heath Minister Hamad Hassan initially revealed that over 63 people were killed and more than 2,750 were admitted to hospitals with death toll figures rising to 100 killed and over 4000 injured. 

President Michel Aoun revealed that an ammonium nitrate was the main cause of the blast on Tuesday, as the Supreme Defense Council has declared a state of emergency for two weeks.

On the other hand, Hezbollah denied the allegations that the explosion in Beirut was an attack by Israel on their own weapon depots.
