Eid Al Adha Celebrations Across the Middle East

Muslims worldwide have celebrated Eid al Adha during the past four days in various ways, some people have made Eid cake and coffee, others fired canons, or played drums. Children were seen wearing new clothes, flooding the streets, and enjoying Eid Al Adha rituals.

Eid al-Adha is celebrated every year in honor of the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to Allah's command. 

Every year, millions of Muslims participate in the rituals of Eid Al Adha which falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts for four days.
