The developments in the modern cruise ship industry are progressing steadily. At the beginning of this year, we witnessed the launch of the largest cruise ship ever, which undoubtedly symbolizes progress in the maritime field. 

It is expected that its sister ship, "Star of the Seas," will follow this path and surpass it in size. These massive ships are operated by Royal Caribbean International, a leader in the cruise industry, owning five of the ten largest cruise ships in the world.

Royal Caribbean International – Oasis of the Seas: Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International. It was built to replace the Freedom-Class ship owned by the same company, becoming the largest passenger cruise ship in the world, replacing MS Independence of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean International – Harmony of the Seas: Harmony of the Seas is a luxury cruise ship and one of the largest cruise ships in the world. It is taller than the Eiffel Tower and the Burj Al Arab, with a length of 361 meters and 16 decks. It has a gross tonnage of 227,000 tons and can accommodate up to 5,497 guests based on double occupancy.

Royal Caribbean International – Symphony of the Seas: Symphony of the Seas is a cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International, which entered service in March 2018. The 18-deck ship can accommodate 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members. It was built in one and a half years at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, and is the fourth Oasis-class ship owned by Royal Caribbean.
