Israeli Police Beat, Arrest Palestinian Protesters in Jerusalem

Israeli police and Palestinian protesters have been confronting one another outside the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City in renewed tensions during Ramadan. Israeli police arrested, beat and fired crowd-control munitions at Palestinians who police said were throwing stones. Palestinians have been protesting nightly around Jerusalem since April 2.
