Mass Floods Kill Over 50 in Japan

Massive floods in Japan have killed over 50 people as it was caused due to the incessant weekend rains in Kumamoto province, southwestern Kyushu island.

Moreover, Japan's Meteorological Agencyhave released its second-highest emergency warning for heavy rain and landslid.

Around 3.6 million people across the country were told to evacuate, although evacuation is not mandatory. However, the number of people who actually took shelter was not provided by authorities.
