Mechanics Amina Challenges 'Shame Culture' in Lebanon

Culture of shame is an issue which has been running for years in the Arab world. However, the young generation is trying to defeat that phenomenon via several ways.

Amina is a Lebanese girl who has been working as a car repear 'mechanic' for the last 10 years. She insists this job has been her dream since she was a little girl, facing all cultural stereotypes about women and women's abilities.
