Mohammed Bin Rashid's Book-shaped Library Opens to Public

Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL) was officially opened to visitors and readers in Dubai on June 16, 2022. The Dubai library is designed from the outside to look like a book. It contains more than 1.1 million books.

MBRL is spread over 54,000sqm and consists of seven floors as well as it is divided to nine small libraries inside one giant library.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is developed to match current world needs as it contains very smart technology and artificial intelligence to make the library as accessible as possible. Furthermore, robots are placed to help visitors beside an electronic book retrieval system.
