Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has chaired the 40th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit in Riyadh, Tuesday, December 10th, as Saudi Arabia has already hosted the summit on eight occasions.
The country's hosting of the meeting reflected its leadership’s keenness to overcome regional challenges, GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani added.
Moreover, the six-member bloc reaffirms the need to enhance and empower military and security cooperation to maintain regional cooperation.
