Supporters of Ousted PM Imran Khan Rally in Pakistan

Thousands of Pakistanis rallied in the street to show support for their ousted prime minister Imran Khan following news that he was charged under the country's antiterrorism act on Sunday over a speech he gave a day earlier.

Protesters have waved national flags along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party flags portraying Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan.

Former prime minister Imran Khan is said to have threatened officials during his speech earlier. Khan is charged after chastising top police officials and a judge over the arrest of his chief of staff, Shahbaz Gill.
