World Reflects on 18th Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

The world pauses to reflect on the 18th anniversary of September 11, 2001. On Wednesday the  9/11 Memorial & Museum will lead the world to remember the 18th anniversary of the horrific attacks on New York and Washington. top officials will be in attendance including US President Donald Trump and  US ambassador to Israel David Friedman

They a light show will be held in tribute to New York City's World Trade Centre Twin Towers to commemorate one of the most tragic days in modern US history. On September 11, 2001, 19 Al Qaeda  members conducted a series of brutal, well-orchestrated attacks on American soil. 

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will be the site for the annual name-reading ceremony where six moments of silence are planned. President Donald Trump is scheduled to participate in the Pentagon Observance Ceremony in Arlington. The lights at West and Morris streets will turn on at sunset on Sept. 11, and will remain illuminated until dawn on Sept. 12.
