Sorouh wins major international business award for corporate achievement

Sorouh Real Estate, the Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer, has been awarded the extremely prestigious Gold Category at The Century International Quality ERA Award (CQE) from Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D) in Geneva. 

This is the highest ranking category of these awards and is presented in recognition of Sorouh’s overall corporate achievement; specifically for the Company’s leadership, quality, innovation, excellence, technology, customer service and prestige. B.I.D has a long history, and has awarded companies and professionals from 178 countries since 1986, and Sorouh now joins an elite group of global companies who have a B.I.D award to their names. Past winners include China Pacific Insurance Group, Inventec Electronics from Malaysia, and Arab Contractors and Royal Jordanian Airlines from the Middle East. 

Sorouh was selected by a system of votes, polls and recommendations and then chosen for the award by a jury of previous winners. The Century International Quality ERA jury comprises experienced professionals from the business world and is presided by Jose Prieto, President and CEO of B.I.D., President of the Century International Quality ERA and creator of the first edition of the QC100 TQM (the Total Quality Management model). Fellow jury members include Alfonso Casal, Century International Quality ERA Vice President, and four members of the Council. 

The award was presented to Sorouh during a gala dinner held at the International Convention Hall in Geneva, which was attended by Nader Al Aulaqi, Commercial Director of Sorouh and Saeed Al Habsi, Second Secretary, UAE Permanent Mission to Switzerland, alongside companies from 49 countries, leaders from different business fields, professionals from the worlds of economics and the arts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.
