Spice Market at W Doha launches its Summer menu adding 13 new seasonal dishes incorporating exciting new seasonal ingredients.

The 13 new recipes from Spice Market have a lighter feel for the summer months and include ingredients such as yellow tail tuna, halibut fillet, and beetroot, and fresh tasting flavours like lemon, chilli and mint among others. The exquisite new additions have been created by internationally renowned three star Michelin Chef, Jean-GeorgesVongerichtenand include:

Sea Bream Sashimi, Green Chili, Pistachios and Mint.

Hamachi Sashimi, Chipotle Mayonnaise and Crispy Rice.

Crunchy Squid Salad, Ginger, Papaya and Cashews.

Shaved Tuna, Chili Tapioca, Asian Pear and Lime.

Spring Pea Soup, Thai Chili and Mint.

Warm Beetroot Salad with Labneh, Chillies and Fresh Herbs.

Steamed Halibut, Spiced Jade Emulsion, Tender Celeriac.

Braised Lamb Shanks, Green Curry and Vegetables.

Soy Glazed Short Ribs, Celery, Jalapeno and Apple Salad.

Spicy Shanghai Soup Noodles, Chilled Silken Tofu, Garlic and Herbs.

Mango Upside Down Cake, Basil Ice Cream.

Apricot Sundae, Ginger Ice Cream, Vanilla Tapioca

Thai tea ice cream, brown sugar meringue and berries.

Executive Chef, Prakash Seetul, and  Chef de Cuisine, Darsin Joseph, with the assistance of the team from Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges have been working hard on implementing the new menu changes.

The partnership called Culinary Concepts was created between Jean Georges and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and develops, owns, operates, manages and licenses world-class restaurants concepts by Michelin 3-star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Culinary Concepts is in the midst of a global expansion to bring its portfolio of 5 signature concepts to fine hotel and resort properties worldwide. New Brunch

The new brunch at Spice Market from June will be a ‘Journey through South East Asia’, featuring superb flavours and fusion food from Jean-Georges. Setting the stage for diners to imagine they are transported to the Far East, Spice Market will use the concept of food carts, pushed throughout the restaurant to create an authentic Asian atmosphere to servethe new dishes.

Sushi nights

Sushi Nights will add extra flavor to the start of the week with Spice Market’s comprehensive sushi menu featuring assorted sushi, nigiri, maki and sashimi, prepared with the secret condiments of the three Michelin star chef, Jean Georges Vongerichten and his expert team. The Sushi Nights will take place every Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00.

Sip & Savor

Sip and Savor is an early two for one drink offer at Spice Market.Diners can sip their first drink and their second is complimentary with Spice Market Snacks. The drinks offer runs from Saturday to Thursday,each week from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Swing Sundays

Swing Sundays provide an opportunity to sip a cocktail in Spice Market or have a full meal while listening to the classic crooning sounds of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole swing numbers from the 1930’s and beyond. These are being performed by a line up of well known talented singers every Sunday.
