140 Fencers to Participate in Women's Sabre World Cup in Tunisia

Tunisia will play host May 10-12 to the Women's Sabre World Cup.

Tunisian Fencing Federation President Zayda Doghri said that 140 fencers representing 29 countries will take part in this event with their technical, medical and administrative staffs.

The Tunisia will be represented by its best fencers who have distinguished themselves at the cadet and junior world championship in Poland, including Yasmine Daghfous and Azza Besbes.

"This world cup is the first qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games in the women's sabre category," she specified, adding that prominent figures of Arab, African and world fencing will be present at this event.
