Al-Ahly club won the CAF Champions League for the ninth time in its history after a deadly victory over Zamalek, 2-1, this Friday evening at Cairo Stadium in the final match.

Al-Ahly managed to break its knot after snatching the Champions League title after a complete absence of 7 years since the last coronation in 2013 and achieving the title under the leadership of its South African coach Pitso Mosimane.
