Al-Ahly Wins Ninth Continental Star

Al-Ahly club won the CAF Champions League for the ninth time in its history after a deadly victory over Zamalek, 2-1, this Friday evening at Cairo Stadium in the final match.

Al-Ahly scored early goal after 5 minutes, but Zamalek scored the equalizer goal by Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala in the 31st minute, but Al-Ahly scored the winning goal in the 87th minute with a missile shot.

Al-Ahly managed to break its knot after snatching the Champions League title after a complete absence of 7 years since the last coronation in 2013 and achieving the title under the leadership of its South African coach Pitso Mosimane.

The match deserved the title of the final of the century and Al-Ahly gave a good start, but Zamalek also played a strong match despite the absences and the match came out well.
